Here's an example of Ron Gross's Jupiter 2 prototype. We have also included a comparison photo of the original 4ft "beauty" miniature.

Ron's work was also used as the basis for the Polar Lights Jupiter 2 model kit. It is our opinion, that to date, Ron has produced the most logical and accurate depiction of this classic ship.

ScifiMetropolis, with the consulting assistance of Ron Gross, Mike Sussek and Jeffrey King, has painstakingly gone over every detail of updating Ron's original work.

Utilizing state of the art 3D modeling software, extensive film libraries, photographic material and access to castings from the original 4ft miniature has enabled us to produce CNC machined patterns for our replicas that are second to none!
